Our Story

Authentic Purpose OT was founded by Filippa in 2021. The company was born out of a desire to provide client centered care while also creating a balanced work-life dynamic. Filippa, who was expecting her son at the time, envisioned a flexible environment where she could serve her clients, contribute to her family's financial well-being, and have quality time with her child. With this vision in mind, Authentic Purpose OT was established.

Since its inception, Authentic Purpose OT has achieved remarkable success and recognition. Filippa's commitment to excellence and her profound impact on the disability services field have led to nominations for prestigious awards in both disability and business sectors. Her expertise and dedication have inspired some occupational therapists to seek her mentorship and others to collaborate as contractors within the organisation.

This growth and demand for their services prompted an exciting milestone in 2023, Filippa and Anthony, who had already established themselves in their respective fields, joined forces as co-directors. This collaboration led to the decision to rebrand as Authentic Purpose, reflecting their expanded vision and a broader scope of services beyond Occupational Therapy. While their foundation remains rooted in Occupational Therapy, Authentic Purpose now encompasses disability exercise, and wellness under Anthony's leadership.

With a team of highly skilled professionals and a shared commitment to their vision, they strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of their clients, promoting inclusion, empowerment, and overall well-being.
